The global travels and tours industry is a multi billion dollar business. In Africa, the industry yet emerging is making great strides. In 2016 with less than 20 million travellers, Africa contributed $1.6b to the global air transportation sector, it is estimated that by 2035 there’ll be close to 300 million travellers across Africa.
The manpower gap in travels and tours makes it an emerging career prospects for youths in sub saharan Africa. To this end, the learning and training arm of EmployMe Nigeria in conjunction with 16 IATA accredited travel agencies in Nigeria are organizing a five weeks training and skill acquisition in Air Ticketing & Reservation (ATR). This course will lead to the award of Diploma in Air ticketing and reservation and will open participants into the global economy of travels and tourism. Participants will have immediate opportunity after the programme to work (part or full time) or intern for 60 days at partner travel agencies. For others that wish to work from home or on their own, will be linked to agencies as sub agents.
Dual Prospects for participants
This course gives participants a dual advantage to either work as a travel/booking agents at reputable agencies or as sub agents/travel consultants working or owning your own agency.

Basic requirement for this programme is knowledge of computer. Participants will have beginners guide of the travel industry from the course study pack and with a post course support mechanism be rest assured of good understanding at the immediate impact.
