Join the EmployMe Volunteer set up
Our first objective in Nigeria when we came on board on the 1st of May 2016 was to educate the Nigerian working community on the need to imbibe a volunteer spirit amongst the citizenry.
Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial gain. Volunteering is also renowned for skill development, and is often intended to promote goodness or to improve human quality of life.
To this end, we launched the EmployMe Nigeria volunteer services, which is intended to encourage people to offer themselves and expertise for a just cause, first to help and give back to the society and to also edify their souls.
Volunteering could also form part of your Curriculum Vitae as a job seeker; it could also act as a referral and have been known to promote ones personal brand. Some NGO’s within our network offer certificate, recommendation and letters of service to volunteers and this have been helpful in future.
Every Saturday within the EmployMe franchise all over the world, is dedicated to volunteer services, Nigeria joined this cause on Saturday 4th of June 2016 and so far the response from the Nigerian working community, NGO’s and the citizenry have been commendable.
Don’t be left out of this; offer your time, at the minimum 3 hours weekly (preferably Saturdays) to a worthy cause join out network of employable professionals giving back to the society through the EmployMe Volunteer set up.
